LEVOWET Bolus

LEVOWET Bolus contains Levofloxacin 1.5 gm, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulated for effective treatment of severe bacterial infections in large and small animals.

Levofloxacin acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing bacterial DNA replication and leading to rapid bactericidal action. It is highly effective against Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and Mycoplasma organisms.

The bolus ensures deep tissue penetration and rapid systemic distribution, making it suitable for respiratory, gastrointestinal, and systemic infections in livestock.

• Diarrhea of bacterial origin

• Respiratory tract infections

• Urinary tract infections

• Endocarditis

• Meningitis

• Prostatitis

• Anthrax

• Mycoplasma infections

• Other systemic bacterial infections

Dosage

Cow & Buffalo: 5–10 mg per kg body weight
Sheep & Goat: As directed by veterinarian
